Join us for the Chamber’s 7th Annual State of Education luncheon to hear from Austin’s leading technology company on how disruptive technology is influencing the learning process , the role of the cloud in running school districts and what killer apps and devices are on the horizon.

Steve Felice, President and Chief Commercial Officer at Dell, Inc., leads the Dell sales and marketing teams that deliver innovative and practical technology solutions to consumers, small and medium businesses, public institutions and large enterprises worldwide.
Prior to his current role, Steve was senior vice president and president of the Consumer, Small and Medium Business group, and also led operations for Dell in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. He has also been responsible for global corporate customers based in the United States and has held various executive roles in sales and consulting services organizations.
The State of Education is an annual signature event of the Austin Chamber, welcoming the largest gathering of Central Texas business, education, technology and community leaders. The event features a review of the Chamber 2012 education initiatives, and a discussion of the 2013 Texas Legislature. Also, recognition will be awarded to the best high school for highest college application rate, highest FAFSA submission rate, and highest college/career readiness rate . In addition, the Chamber’s annual Austin Human Capital Award winner will be announced.

The Austin Chamber of Commerce must maintain a cancellation policy for events in order to properly plan for catering, venue expenses and marketing efforts. Unless stated otherwise, Chamber reservations must be cancelled 3 days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be issued after the event. No refunds will be issued for nonattendance. You are welcome to send another member of your staff in your place.
